Who are we?

We are 12th year students of the Externato Cooperativo da Benedita. Our working group is made up of five members: Rita Silva, Miriam Rogério, Marta Valentim, Joana Almeida and Inês Pestana.

We have the ambition that characterizes us to take this project further.

We were asked to do a work project, within the scope of the discipline of biology, which we will develop during the two academic semesters 21/22. Our work is meant to inform and sensitize society about mutations and genetic diseases, which led us to build and develop this website, as well as the creation of our Instagram page, which you can access through our website, too!
We aim to reach a significant number of people with this project so that everyone can learn with us.
For us, this is all very new, but we are confidently embarking on this project and opening our arms to the new learning that we want to pass on to you, too.
We feel that not only us, but also the public can benefit from our work, and for that reason, we feel happy to be part of this project, which is still under construction.
